Operation Charcteristics
MS Moisture separator. For the
removal of 99% bulk oil / water from the compressed air system.
Filter Type SB: Pre-Filtration
Sintered bronze filter element for the
removal of pipe scales, bulk liquid, solid particles, dust down to
down 5 micron. Ideal as pre filter before line filter (Filter element
regenerable) available in 25, 10, 5 microns.
Filter Type PF: High Efficiency Fine
Filter
For the removal of particles down to 1
micron including coalesced liquid water and oil, dust, providing a
maximum remaining oil aerosol content of 0.5mg/m3 at 21°C
Filter Type UF: High Efficiency Oil
Removal Filtration
For the removal of particles down to
0.01 micron including water and oil aerosols, dust, proving a maximum
remaining oil aerosol content of 0.01mg/m3 (0.01 ppm) at 21°C
efficiency - 99.9999% (install in series with filter type PF). (Borosilicate glass micro fibres - media which actively repel oil
and water to reduce pressure drop and running cost to an absolute
minimum)
Filter Type AC: Activated Carbon
Filtration.
For the removal of vapour and
hydrocarbon odours giving a maximum remaining oil content of
<0.003mg/m3 (<0.003 ppm) (w) (excluding methane) at 21°C
(install in series with filter type PF+UF).
Note: It is essential to change the filter
elements every year or earlier if the clogging indicator (D.P Gauge)
changes to red.
